Meet the Doctor
Dr. Eric Van Zytveld graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry and has been in private practice ever since in downtown Denver. In 2018, he received the University of Colorado Dental Distinguished Alumni Award. He has been active in organized dentistry for years, currently serving as the historian of the Colorado Prosthodontic Society and on the board of Dental Lifeline Network (formerly Colorado Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped).
A believer in giving back to the community, Dr. Van Zytveld has served underserved populations including disabled patients through Donated Dental Services and the Dental House Calls program, victims of domestic violence through the Smile Again Program, disabled seniors through the Senior Answers program, and uninsured families through the Colorado Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day. In 2022 Dr. Van Zytveld received the Denver Channel 7 Everyday Hero award for his caring of Dental Lifeline Network patients.
A very high percentage of patients suffer from sensitivity and erosion of their teeth along the gum line. Dr. Van Zytveld has investigated the causes and treatment of that problem for over 30 years and lectures on that subject.
